It is at the Flinders St end of Queen St.

There is no good news on Lonsdale House. Melbourne Heritage Watch website reported a month ago that demolition was imminent but so far it is still standing.David Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08559022801796129763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5989779602103737857.post-65453766359566793172009-12-14T21:26:53.999+11:002009-12-14T21:26:53.999+11:00This building is on top of my "must see"...This building is on top of my "must see" list next time I'm in Melbourne. I agree winter is the best, especially if we get one of those beautiful cloudless days. Of course these trees are even bigger now so even in winter they block a lot of Alkira House.David Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08559022801796129763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5989779602103737857.post-17003783378388709802009-12-14T10:40:29.477+11:002009-12-14T10:40:29.477+11:00yeah the art deco buildings in Melbourne being qui...yeah the art deco buildings in Melbourne being quite tall coupled with tree growth in the summer months creates a real challenge - like Sean said - winter is a great time - summer months can often be impossible to see the buildings let alone take photos of them! :)Thomas Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10295062570302129782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5989779602103737857.post-73532409100491787012009-12-14T10:23:41.896+11:002009-12-14T10:23:41.896+11:00Thanks Fazz & SeanThanks Fazz & SeanDavid Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08559022801796129763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5989779602103737857.post-49311681382671738862009-12-14T10:07:30.813+11:002009-12-14T10:07:30.813+11:00I've had the same problem with trees and photo...I've had the same problem with trees and photos.
