Times may have changed but I remember when I went in the first year they didn't show us the swimming pool so I asked the guide about it and he said they were concerned about opening too much up to non-members (or words to that effect) but he suggested I write to them about the pool. I did and it was on the agenda the following year. I hope they are still part of the Open House programme but I honestly don't know. I've put the location out of my mind because I knew they were a Private Club.David Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08559022801796129763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5989779602103737857.post-55699891067346824082012-10-02T00:09:46.596+10:002012-10-02T00:09:46.596+10:00Since Deco was most associated with Hollywood, sle...Since Deco was most associated with Hollywood, sleekness, cocktails, dancing and modern materials, it made sense that leisure facilities would want to be built in the Deco taste. This swimming pool complex (which is it, by the way?) proves the connection worked brilliantly.Helshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02849907428208235392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5989779602103737857.post-50637514482653037042012-09-30T23:37:29.082+10:002012-09-30T23:37:29.082+10:00It was great to see it.
