This is 58-60 Queen Street, Auckland. It was original built in 1936 but in recent years has been transformed into a hotel. When I took these photos a couple of years ago it was the Park Regis but it has since become the Grand Windsor Hotel.
Cool! When was original built in 1936 but before it was transformed into a hotel, what was the building used for? Were he concrete veranda thingies on the right hand building part of the original 1936 design?
Happy 2016, David!
