Sorry I cannot be at the rally, David, although I am never sure how much good rallying does. Still, those of us who are old hippies from the 1960s have marched and rallied and protested our little hearts out :)
But that begs the main question. Why would this lovely building be pulled down, do you know?
Hels. I afraid it is the pull of the retail dollar over heritage. The developers claim they need to widen Caledonian Lane to provide better access or the delivery trucks therefore they need to demolish this lovely building.
