Look up for inspiration and beauty
Tried to lunch there a couple of years ago but booked out by a party of bikies. Nice building, but I see no rule of three.
I could argue that the vertical element at the roofline conforms to the rule of three.
Large pubs in Australia should be either late Victorian (with a wrap around balcony and fine pillars) or Deco. The Royal Hotel in Drouin looks as if it was born Victorian but got upmarketed in the inter-war era. Go Drouin!
That is a possibility. There was a murder at the Royal Hotel in Drouin around the turn of the 20th century.
I've stayed there a few times while attending local events. It's nothing flash upstairs but still pretty cool. They make a good chicken parma!
Good to know Wayne, another fine Aussie pub tradition.
