The vertical fin and neon lighting were two of the elements that made Palmer House (and other Miami hotelss) so distinctly Deco. Love it!Students will be looking for examples of Deco architecture this semester, so I have given everyone your blog address. Thanks.Hels .... via partner's account

Yes the sign is marvellous, I've been stunned by neon ever since being shown the Skipping Girl as a toddler.
There is something about neon, isn't there.
