Marché Atwater, Montreal

Atwater Market in the St Henri area of Montreal, opened in 1933.

It is located in this long Art Deco building with a tower featuring an ornate clock.

In December 2002, the market suffered about $1 million damage in a fire but has since been restored and remains a foodie (and Art Deco) mecca.
