MELBOURNE ART DECOIn 2009 Robin Grow published a book on Melbourne Art Deco, with images largely supplied by David Thompson. The book quickly sold out and he is pleased to say that it has now been re-published by Brolga Press, with updates, errors corrected and a new cover.
Best of all, it is selling for about $25 in the shops and on-line. Art Deco & Modernism Society members can purchase a copy from me for $22, (includes postage within Australia). That is so funny :) People barrack for St Kilda, whether they live in Victorian homes, Edwardian homes, Californian bungalows or Deco mansions.

ReplyDeleteAnon, I am so sorry for you that you cannot see the most glorious combination of colours to enter a football field ... RED WHITE & BLACK. I hope you do have some colour in your life and are not limited to Black & White or some other hideious combination like Brown & Yellow, or Red, Yellow and Blue and don't get me started on Teal or Purple. Red and Blue are OK, but it certainly depends on how they are combined ... stripes are good.

...it happened. Anonymous above has finally realised the error of his ways and ditched the team presided by the ex parliamentarian with the sharp angled head and a coat hanger stuffed permanently in his suit.
