Oh that is very sexy! But the facade doesn't look any wider than the front door. Perhaps decorative elements can be very exotic ... If they have to cover only small areas.
I think the shop to the left of the doorway is part of the façade but the entrance to the floors above the shopfront is just so moreish so I probably didn't even notice the rest of the building.
MELBOURNE ART DECO
In 2009 Robin Grow published a book on Melbourne Art Deco, with images largely supplied by David Thompson. The book quickly sold out and he is pleased to say that it has now been re-published by Brolga Press, with updates, errors corrected and a new cover.
