Commonwealth Bank, Deniliquin
There is a certain house style to Commonwealth Bank branches all over Australia but I think the decoration above the door of this branch in Deniliquin makes it stand out.

Bazar Mitre, Montevideo
This is one one of my favourite buildings in Montevideo but then I have so many. The long vertical sign really made the Bazar Mitre stand out.The top of the building has some lovely decoration below the open balcony and along the roofline. And the façade seen from street level has a wonderful profile.

A House in Poowong
I really liked the view of this house in Poowong. It had a bit of a deco feel to it and then I noticed the low brick wall.

Edificio Kavanagh, Buenos Aires
This is a somewhat deceptive view of Edifcio Kavanagh in Buenos Aires and not just because it appears to be surrounded by trees. This view shows the top of the building so you don't get a sense of the bulk of the building. This is a very large building. This view shows some of that bulk but in a a way overstates it.As you can see here, the building is very narrow near the top while the lower floors are actually in the shape of a 'V' with a car park and service area in the back.Edificio Kavanagh is rightly the most well-known Art Deco building in Buenos Aires. It was designed by architects, Sanchez, Lagos and de la Torre and was built 1934-36.References:

Gowings Buildings, Bega
I love the simple lines of Gowings Buildings in Bega dating from 1951. I wonder if it was designed before the war?

Shops, Yenda
Yenda is a small village in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA) of New South Wales but it packs a punch as far as deco is concerned. Unfortunately, too many of the commercial buildings are vacant like this pair of shops.
