An interesting house in New Norfolk, Tasmania. Porthole window, curved corner, rounded room on the right and lovely sweeping set of steps to the front door.

Don't you love the map of Tassie on the For Sale sign.

    Ohh David. Even I know what Tassie looks like without a map of it being shoved in my face. The house looks great, and I think it might have looked much better before the bricks were painted and the windows replaced.

    Lovely Deco porthole windows and curved corners! And I like the roof line over the rounded room.

    I have no good reason for being surprised at seeing Deco in New Norfolk. After all, we have seen some fascinating Deco buildings in Tasmania, both from you and from Art Deco & Modernism Architecture Tasmania.

      Thanks Helen, I hadn't paid attention to that part of the roof. And yes Thomas has great stuff on his Art Deco & Modernism blogs.
