Garage Cerrito, Montevideo
This is the Garage Cerrito in Montevideo designed by architect Rafael Lorente. It's got so much going for it. Portholes. An entrance with a great shape.I really like how the columns seem to break through the angled wall of the entrance. And, of course, the architect's name proudly displayed on the façade.
Place:
Montevideo,
Uruguay

The angled wall at the entrance is very sleek *nod*
ReplyDeleteAnd fantastic... an architect who signs his work, just as a painter who signs and dates his painting. I see no difference between a visual artist, a writer or a musician, for that matter, when it comes to a creative person's pride in ownership.
Exactly Hels and this is the building I was thinking of when I mentioned to you that architects put their name to buildings in South America.
