    It says "surpringly decorated in dark wood". But if the booths were original 1930s Deco, it would not have been surprising at all. In fact the dark wood looks very handsome.

      Agree entirely Hels but that there was a deco interior at all was a bit surprising compared with the exterior, so perhaps that is what they are alluding to.
