Look up for inspiration and beauty
In Melbourne Art Deco, Robin Grow, President of the Art Deco & Modernism Society, examines the rise, fall and resurgence of Art Deco in Melbourne from the 1930s to the present day. With contemporary images by David Thompson and a team of photographers, supported by archival material, Melbourne Art Deco offers an invaluable insight into history and current state of one of the city's most popular styles.
Very nice building. A standout.

ReplyDeleteLove it! Art deco seems to be well served in many types of buildings and decorative programmes, but nothing quite as swish as picture theatres and live performance centres!
ReplyDeleteA great description Hels ... nothing quite as swish as picture theatres ...
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by Susan ... just about the first Art Deco building we saw in Buenos Aires and just about the loveliest.
