A Building in Bairnsdale

I don't know anything about this building in Bairnsdale, Victoria. It has the most wonderful tower so it may have been a cinema but the plaque on the façade shows a horse-drawn carriage passing through a winged-tyre so it was perhaps related to transport, possibly a garage.

A House in Bairnsdale

I found this house in Bairnsdale on our drive through East Gippsland yesterday.

I like the screen doors at the front.

Did you notice the message of Merry Christmas and the helpful addition of a few arrows in black texta to indicate where the bell is.

And the handwritten note attached to the door using a clothes peg.

But my favourite feature of the house is the chimney.
