  1. Vertical garden city is not a concept I have heard before, or have forgotten. But your reference on Lubetkin, Le Corbusier, Highpoint and 1930s sophistication is spot on. Those refugees out of central and eastern Europe certainly made an enormous impact on British architecture.

    1. It's a great concept. Just a shame that something went wrong in the 50s and 60s and instead of parkland between the high-rise buildings we ended up with concrete.
