Public Baths, Eltham

Public Baths, Eltham

The public baths in Eltham in South-East London were built in 1939 but with the redevelopment of Eltham Centre in incorporating a new swimming pool rendered it surplus to requirements.

The site was sold in January 2008 for £4m and since then I beleive the building has been demolished.

    The baths are still intact but boarded up, would love to get inside for a look round

    yeah the baths are still there. they dont seem to be doing anything with them. they should reopen it again!

    Sorry to tell you this, but the baths have been demolished. Just a big pile of rubble there now!

    Yes sadly it has been demolished with the Tower coming down today. Very Sad time for Eltham residents :( I have a facebook page called goodbye Eltham baths, so many memories
