Edificio Fabiao, Copacabana

Edificio Fabiao in Copacabana is a bit grey, almost brutal, for such a lovely Rio seaside location but I think it is beautiful even through its chunky decoration.

It has a lovely door for starters. And when you visit, make sure you have a close look at the building number (46). It is very small but very, very stylish.

    David, I love the way you share your ability to see the stylishness in even a chunky building such as this one. It helps me understand why some buildings are appealing to our eyes in spite of themselves. Lovely piece!

    Thanks you Susan. I like that I visited this building on a dull, cold Winter's morning (by Rio de Janeiro standards - I almost wore a long-sleeved shirt). It emphasises the greyness in a place like Copacabana perpetually portrayed as colour & sunshine.
