Look up for inspiration and beauty
MELBOURNE ART DECOIn 2009 Robin Grow published a book on Melbourne Art Deco, with images largely supplied by David Thompson. The book quickly sold out and he is pleased to say that it has now been re-published by Brolga Press, with updates, errors corrected and a new cover.
Best of all, it is selling for about $25 in the shops and on-line. Art Deco & Modernism Society members can purchase a copy from me for $22, (includes postage within Australia). My uncle and his family owned this building in Dapto.
ReplyDeleteTheir names were Sid. Jack and May .
May had a hairdressing business in the building.Sid and ny aunt Nell lived on a farm ,Anondale just west of Dapto Jack and Sid worked the dairy farm. Sid and Nells son and daughter still live on the south coast.
Thanks the the extra info. Always good to find out a bit more about a building.
