    Very simple, but I imagine that for a family that had always rented until the 1930s, this house was a godsend. Free standing, garden space for the kids and some geometric decoration. I would lose the veranda, however.

      For sure Helen. Hopefully the verandah has a very practical purpose because of the prevailing winds but I agree it is not very attractive.
