The BWS store in Dromana started life in 1937 as Littleton Bros General Store and a residence for the Littleton family.
By the seventies the premises had become Dromana Cellars and still serves that function under the Beer, Wine & Spirits brand.

Just found you, have always loved Art Deco since I was little and my Grandfather worked at "Boomerang House" owned by the Alberts family, music retailers. The house is a mansion at Elizabeth Bay and is magnificent.
ReplyDeleteI had a look on your headings of Elizabeth Bay but it isn't there, private residences must be difficult to photograph unless you have an invitation .
Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment Abbeysmum. Yes it is difficult to get pictures of residences unless they are easily visible from the street. I try to respect people's privacy in any case by taking general pictures. I would like to think that people who live in beautiful and interesting houses would like to show them off.
