I don't know that I have seen Deco glass like this before. I am very impressed.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very, very nice set of windows, such detail.
ReplyDeleteOhh, it's nice to see this glass down south. My mother and I have started collecting photos of the shop windows of southern QLD and northern NSW. She is much quicker though than I am at putting up photos.

DeleteYou're got some good windows there. I especially like the ones from Waynes World Discounts in Moree.
These art deco windows remind me of church windows, so it’s pleasantly strange to see them on a bakery! These windows are definitely very eye-catching though. I’ve always liked art deco windows, and how they can express so much with geometric patterns that might not mean a lot to other people. The chevron pattern in the skylight in the first picture is particularly beautiful to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marla
DeleteI think a lot of people could walk past this building and not notice the windows and as you say it might not mean much to those who do notice them. Then people have different taste, my favourite is the last picture is my favourite.
