    A friend works in Ivanhoe. He has never mentioned what a great building the 'town hall' is.

      Its a bit 'brutal' on the outside but has some delicate features like the grills on the windows and doors. Much softer inside.

      A bit late and they are probably all booked out but there are Art Deco tours happening at The Centre Ivanhoe this weekend by Robin Grow, President of the Art Deco and Modernism Society. Bookings are essential on 9490 4300. I think Robin runs these tours regularly for the City of Banyule.
