A Building in Brussels

BrusselsI spotted this interesting building over the rooftops from our hotel window while we visited Brussels several years ago.

It is obviously Art Deco with a pair of statues of workers (perhaps) and a series of dramatic cream rendered fins which step back with the upper levels of the building.

I did get another shot from ground level but never got close enough to find out what the building is.

    Did you note the address? It's interesting because Brussels is linked more to the Art Nouveau movement than Art Deco.

    Unfortunately not. I was only in Brussels of two days and the weather was mostly apalling. Sleet rather than snow. I just didn't warm to the place at all and consequently didn't give it my full attention. Maybe I'll get back there one day in better circumstances.
