Maple Leaf Gardens designed by architects Ross & McDonald was constructed in 1931.
It served as the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team until 1999 when they moved to the Air Canada Centre.
In recent years this historic stadium has remained vacant but current negotiations could see it re-open to the public complete with ice rink.
