Reynolds Arcade in Main St, Rochester was built in 1828 and almost immediately became central to Rochester commerce including the original location for the Western Union Telegraph Company and Bausch & Lomb Optical. However, after more than 100 years of service the City considered the building a fire hazard and it was demolished in 1932.
